Do You Know This House???
Pictured below is the childhood hide-away where Richard Harris' character, Martin Steckert, grew up as a boy, in the movie, Martin's Day. Do you know where this house is located?

What I Do Know...
I started with nothing, except clues in the movie. After months of research, my big break came when the kind folks at The Ontario Film Commission were nice enough to track down the film's Location Manager, and find out where this house is located. The answer...Lake Joseph in Muskoka, Ontario Canada.

How You Can Help...
From the shots in the movie, Lake Joseph looks pretty big, and I wouldn't even know where to start. Plus, I don't have that much time off work--I'd love to spend a week exploring the lake and its surroundings, but just I can't get away for that long. So do you know this house? What can you tell me about it? Is it a private home? A cottage rental? Abandoned? Still standing? And how would I get there? Directions? Anything? Any help you could give me would be appreciated.
